Our client is a high-profile accountancy firm that has built a particularly strong reputation in the Private Client field. Demand for their Trusts and Estates expertise continues to grow and they are now keen to appoint a Senior Manager to perform very much a client-facing role.

Based in Ipswich, the team believes in a healthy work/life balance and offers home working 3-4 days a week.

The client base is a mix of both London and regional clients, offering a challenging and varied portfolio of work. The incoming individual will work closely with a highly experienced Trusts & Tax Director, advising HNW clients on trust accounting, trust taxation, administration and ad hoc planning issues.

They'll also get involved with internal and external networking, helping to raise the profile of the Trusts offering across the region.

Ideally the adviser will need to be STEP and/or CTA qualified, but will certainly have extensive experience of advising trust, estate and charity clients.

This is a supportive and collegiate environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge alongside leading tax and trusts professionals. Genuine scope exists to progress towards AD and Director grade. 

Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £70k-£85k. Ref 685

An opportunity to join the award-winning Private Client team of a high-profile accountancy firm.

Our client is recognised as one of London’s premier providers of private client tax and trusts advice to domestic and international UHNWIs. Their Trusts team is growing and is keen to appoint an additional Tax & Trusts adviser at Manager level.

The role will involve taking responsibility for a portfolio of offshore and onshore trusts, acting as their primary point of contact. You will work closely with Directors and Partners on ad hoc trust structuring, IHT planning, estate/succession advice, establishment and winding up of trusts. 

In addition, you will oversee the preparation and review of trust accounts and trust returns by junior staff.

The successful candidate is likely to be STEP qualified (potentially also CTA) and will certainly have demonstrable experience of advising on trust taxation, IHT and estate planning. They will be looking for a modern, supportive environment in which to develop their career towards Senior Manager and Director grades.

Their Trusts team is growing and keen to appoint a Trusts & Tax Assistant Manager to oversee the tax and accounts compliance on a varied portfolio of trust structures. The team advises UK and international UHNWIs on all areas of their personal taxation including multi-jurisdictional wealth planning, succession-planning, property-related issues, transaction-related advice and extraction of wealth from businesses. They maintain a high profile both internally and externally and their expertise continues to attract work of the highest quality.

Our client now seeks to recruit an additional personal tax adviser at Director level. The incoming individual will be CTA qualified with extensive experience of income and capital taxes planning for UHNWIs and their families. They will also have experience of networking, business development and building referral relationships. Strong team management skills are also important.

In return, the individual will work closely with some of the profession’s leading Private Client Partners and advisers, in very much a client-facing advisory-focused role. Genuine scope exists for progression to partnership.

Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £110k-£140k + bens and bonus. The team operates hybrid working with most advisers in the office three days a week.

The Private Client Tax team is keen to recruit a Senior Manager, to perform a broad-ranging, client-facing role:

  • Provision of income and capital taxes planning advice to UK and international HNWIs
  • Ongoing management of client relationships including identifying planning opportunities
  • Assisting Partners with new client development and third-party networking
  • Welcoming and onboarding new HNW clients
  • Billing and WIP management responsibilities
  • Overseeing junior advisers and the annual tax compliance process

The CTA qualification is a pre-requisite, along with extensive experience of advising on CGT and IHT planning issues, including those relating to domicile, residence and remittance.

In return, you’ll be supported with your development towards Director grade and be give the responsibility and opportunity to grow as an adviser.

The client base includes PE executives, HNW business owners, serial entrepreneurs and wealthy families. The team undertakes  income and capital taxes planning, shareholder planning, exit strategies for business owners, property-related advice, residence/domicile issues and succession planning.

The team is busy, growing and keen to appoint an additional CTA at Manager level. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of HNW/UHNW individuals and their families, as their key trusted adviser. This will involve identifying and advising on ad hoc personal tax planning projects, as well as overseeing complex compliance. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced partners and to build a name for yourself in the region. There is also scope to work with partners and directors on networking and business development initiatives. 

The role would suit an experienced London Assistant Manager or Manager looking to pursue their Private Client Tax career outside the Capital. Alternatively, a CTA from a strong regional practice locally. Either way, support will be provided with progression towards SM and Director grades. Some PE-related personal tax experience would be helpful, but is not essential. Strong previous experience of income and capital taxes planning for HNWIs is important.

Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the region £55k-£65k + bens.
